Attention Indiana Providers: Experiencing Issues with Anthem?

It’s come to our attention that several Great Lakes members are experiencing procedural and policy-based problems with Anthem and are having great difficulty getting the issues addressed.  These are universal issues, not company specific, that are being reported to Anthem’s provider representatives but go unresolved after repeated attempts.   

We need your help.  If you’re doing business with Anthem in Indiana and are experiencing issues, please provide the following:

  • Brief summary of problem(s) you’re experiencing (do not include any protected health information);
  •  Have you contacted Anthem regarding your issue(s) and if so, who are you working with?
  •  How long have been working to get your issue(s) addressed?

Please send this information to Kam Yuricich in the Great Lakes office no later than Jan. 17.  We are gathering this input to share with Anthem staff in an effort to get these issues resolved collectively. We’ll update members as we continue to work with the payer.
